No one suggesting me

It is now having the opposite effect with me. I did voice my opinion about not wanting to receive suggest posts. I have around 40 there unopened. But I think if they want to suggest me posts I hardly see anyone coming to my posts through 'people' and 'explore'

Hahaha, well if you told people you don't like it, maybe that's why. But even if I said almost the same thing I still get them so I joined in the bandwagon. I'll send you some later. Might as well use it. Oh wait, I think you're not on my followers list.

I seem to get a few here and there from a select few I am following. I respond to the ones that interest me. I don't usually suggest my own though unless it's getting absolutely no attention. I don't suggest anyone else's to anyone. If they see it then it is their choice to respond.

I really didn't care for suggestions at first, but now I am glad to get them. You can find some good stuff to read there.

At least the suggestions on here are way better than in real life. I always get told "I SUGGEST you put your pants on and get off my lawn", or, "I SUGGEST you quit eating boxes of pizza rolls for dinner." These ones on MyLot are nicer lol

I appreciate each and every one they send me cause sometimes i have no time after returning notifications to go searching for a friend, the suggestion helps me find them and they get first responses..if i don't get suggestions i take longer breaks and may not ever see your discussions..

I suggest you ask for more suggestions.

haha... you cannot underestimate suggestions for it is the process to remind us that our friends here have their discussions made during our absence or just purely to note us as maybe we could give a chance to interact into it and share our reactions, ideas or whatsoever. For sure, they will participate in yours when you are sending your suggestions :P

I have never used the "suggestions" yet.

My suggestion feature doesn't work very well, not everyone appears so I can suggest, you are one that I tried to, but I just can't suggest anything. I don't care beeing suggested, but I will probably see it when I look on what's new on discussions and what people that I am following were interacting.

I appreciate suggestions. I don't get on that much and I like to follow suggestions. I think I get more out of the time I spend here.

Can't you ignore a suggestion,as I think the suggestion sender i.e one whom you follow won't be exactly aware of what all you like!!So any suggestions from anyone what to do in such situations!!

I welcome all the suggestions for posts, which my dear friends recommend me. However, many a times, due to paucity of time I am not able to respond to each and every post and some of the posts are such that I cannot contribute much, then I skip the post. I feel if a friend is suggesting me a post, s/he expects a response from me and I should not disappoint him/her.

I don't mind them to much, as I don't get a lot of them, just enough to keep me busy for a bit. Some of the suggestions I do receive are from people whose discussions I had already responded to. I just delete them and move on to ones that I haven't see yet. Now, I don't do all the suggestions, as some, I can't give and answer, so I just skip them and move on.

I am getting about 10-15 a day. Most of them I love being on them because I either admire the OP or even the OP has become a close friend of mine. Some of them from others are interesting. So I am on them too. And of course, there are some where I have no clue about the discussion and even the OP is not that close to me (read, I dont feel that close to the OP yet), these are the ones I read and skip. Sorry Folks, I am that way - I cannot write "I have no Clue" or even "Great Post" kind of responses.

It helps that my friends suggests their posts . Anyway , i can choose from them . I would usually delete those i don't like and leave those i like and go to them one by one .

It sounds like your friends are doing what you asked of them. For me, it is too hard to remember who likes suggestions and who doesn't and who wants them on certain days, etc and who doesn't. I do try and remember but sometimes I may forget so if you happen to get one from me, I do apologize

I don't mind them, but when people suggest every.single.discussion they post it just makes me feel like not checking any of them at all. I get quite a lot. I see it like the "Share" option on Facebook and I don't share everything I read to everyone. So yeah I do think we have to be selective a bit about suggestions. Just my 2 cents. Now let me see if I can suggest to you something.
