MyLot is SLOW on the Weekends

Hi! I only speak for myself, but the weekends are when Hubby is home during the day, so it's family time for us. In most cases we're out doing something, but even if we're home we're all doing something together, so I don't spend much time on the computer (only when I get a little pocket of time!). Here I am now, but now it's time for dinner - so I'm off to real life again!

There could be several reasons. Many people have other things to do at weekends (family business, going out, enjoying the last of the summer). People are from all around the globe, so have different times when they are likely to be on MyLot and, probably, these times vary depending on whether it's a weekday or not. It may be just a personal thing - that you just see fewer interesting discussions, maybe because you're not in the right mood or something. If you mean that the site itself is slow, it is more than likely because your Internet provider is more heavily loaded at certain times and especially at weekends when more people are online in your area. This will affect the speed of your connection and will make certain sites load slower.

I guess it is but sometimes it isn't. Perhaps the regular myLotters are also having a break on weekends.

I think that every site slows down on weekends because people are busy doing things. In the northern hemisphere, the weather is not yet cold and snowy , so they will be busy enjoying the last few days of summer.

I rarely go to myLot on weekends as I spend it with the family. But I'll try to visit it once in a while from now on so that we could interact.

I also noticed that, saturday was a reallyyy slow day compared to friday. But today is a little better so far. Maybe people was just going out, or doing things they let for the weekends like fixing broken things, etc... I spent the same amout of time friday and saturday, and saturday was clearly slower, but today is already really different from yesterday. Maybe it was just this week, who knows what next week brings us..

Not always , I guess some weekends it does become a bit sluggish ..

Since i am not here on Saturedays, I have no idea how busy it gets then. I do know that when I come in on Sundays, I have alot of notifications and suggestions to do, that seem to take a bit of time to do. I also think, being that the weather is sitll a bit warm, people want to get out and spend what days of summer are left. They more than likely,will be here pretty much all winter though, as it would be to cold to get out.

If I have no timeout issue I do not think it is slow.

I think that people are going out on weekends now that the weather is still warm. I am on vacations too, and can't be very active in here. In a few weeks more people will be active on weekends, we all want to stay inside when it's getting colder.

@Angel,fortunately here in our area internet rarely gets slow.Today is Sunday and today we have been enjoying a fast internet since morning.Internet gets slow or completely interrupted here only when a storm or a heavy downpour takes place.

Yesterday it wasn't a bad day. Although I think that I have spent the same time here than in friday and friday was much better in earnings.

I find the place way too quiet right now.
