I am puzzled. One of my not-so-closed relatives is in trouble. He needs Rs.10000.And he is entreating me to lend him the amount.
I am not a rich person. If I lend him the amount, most probably he would never be able to pay it back. And I am not in a position to lend Rs.10000 and forget and let go of it.But if I refuse to help him,it would severely harm the sweet relations we now have with each other.
We both are in trouble. He needs money,I need a solution. It's a lose-lose situation for me.

those kind of things stink, maybe see if he is willing to discuss why he needs it, and maybe you can just give him some of it, what you can spare, perhaps you know a guy who knows a guy with a better option on whatever it is he needs

@else34 wow, and were they necc bills like food and such, or bills for clothes and things that weren't necc. Honestly it sounds like even if you were able to help, it would only be a to bail this moment, but the boat would still be sinking.

@SIMPLYD,I told him that I too need money now,but he insists on requesting me to lend him the amount.I am aware of the trouble he is in,and want to help him either, but ,at the same time, know that he would never pay back. How long can you go on helping someone with money who never repays.Actually he should blame himself for not having anybody helping him.Chickens have come to roost.
