I have Windows 7 and use Google Chrome. Recently a problem started that is driving me crazy. I will be on here, open a post, read/comment but when I go to close it out the system freezes. I have to cancel out of Google and restart it. It would happen once a hour or so, now it's constant. It's very annoying and I don't know what to do. Any suggestions/thoughts/etc. are appreciated. One it starts it happens on other sites besides this one, but more so on this one.

Is your chrome up-to-date ? Maybe that can solve your issue

I don't have a clue - how do I find out? I can use a computer but when it comes to the inner workings I'm a dumbell!

@AbbyGreenhill Since its mentioned that U use roboform (which I was unaware till now), I had searched and found that sometimes updation of chrome can interfere with roboform and U might need to re-install it. So at present, I will not suggest U to upgrade Chrome, unless someone knowledgeable enough about roboform comment

Do you find Flash crashing or needing to reload or close Flash? Chrome has taken away user control of Flash and only Chrome can maintain and update it. If it continues, try simply uninstalling Chrome and then installing it fresh. In between, get a free program called CCleaner and run it to clean out the registry. Then install a fresh Chrome.

All that scares me - if I uninstall chrome will I lose things I've added like Robo Form? Yes it crashes and I have to keep reloading.

I upgraded to windows ten, so not sure about all of this but, I guess see if it does it on IE (which most PCs have for free anyways) or firefox, also check to see if your flash player or any of your stuff needs updated. I think windows has a program that can do that all for you
