I was desperately trying to loose weight when my dietitian friend suggested me low card diet.It included eating small portion of food every two hrs.Eating more salads, veggies, proteins and less carbs.I lost whopping 7-8 kg doing that diet. But then after few months i started experiencing low energy.I am mean for daily activities but for jogging, climbing hill etc.So i stopped my diet. My weigh has gone up 2-3 kg since then but it is stable now.I feel low card diet is good for short term like doing it for 3 month but for long term i think it has its side effects. Better strategy is do it for 3 months then gradually increase excersize and retain normal diet. So tell me your dieting stories.Have you tried dieting recently. How much success you had?

I have not had to diet for a long time since this last disability came on. in fact I have lost weight. want to gain it. back when I was heavier, I would try and only thing that worked was to not eat at night, cut down on sweets and a lot of walking. walking kept me down.

@piya84 No, because I'm used to it. I am thinking about having something to eat at the moment, but it's 2 AM and I'll be going to bed soon.

No diets for me. Eating balance with enough protein and fruits, exercise a lot will do just fine for me.
