Did You Ever Notice?

That rainwater sluicing through the treads of an automobile tire sounds like the rolling waves gently breaking at the shore? Or that, when rain bubbles out of the bottom of the drain pipe, it is every bit as musical as a stream as it hops and burbles in a busy current over a rocky bed? Or that when a steady rain falls upon the leaves, the trees send up a soft applause and you are drawn onto the storm's stage, soaking it all in? Or is it just water falling magically from the sky, in the most incredible way - stored up in bits of grey fluff strewn across the sky? Did you ever notice the rain?

The rain is one of my lovers(Like the moon), I love the sound it makes, the calm sensation it gives me.. To bad it doesn't rain too much arround here although it has rained quite a bite this last weak, and when it rains here a lot of important streets begin to have a lot of traffic(Not sure if it is right to say like this), and everyone begin to get late for work(Or to get home), and things go all messy...

Is it raining there by any chance today? I don't mind the rain too much, until it goes on for weeks on end.

Yes, there will always be people who feel inconvenienced by the rain while others simply love it for its beauty.

If it does not last for weeks, I like the rain. I like the sound and to see the little drops touching the leaves and the flowers. There is something peaceful in a rainy day.

Rain can get depressing if it lasts too long, but it's always a nice change if it only for a day or two.

Stormy days are always more interesting than sunny days.

The rain does make some oddly tranquil sounds. It relaxes me. Just hearing it hit onto the ground, and hearing the cars slowly driving down the street, splashing through the puddles. It does cause me to smile a little bit. Rain makes a day a bit relaxing. Some people might argue rain leads to a lazy day for me. Yes, I notice all of the wonderful things about the rain. From the moment it starts to roll in, to the time it starts raining, just the feeling you receive.

I have a new fondness for rain after visiting Belgium - there it rains a lot and if you have to sit and do nothing while its raining - you will sit and do NOTHING forever. So I was encouraged to embrace the rain and get a decent drimac (raincoat) good waterproof shoes - they have boots and Travel and meander anyway. Rain is now not a hamper in my life, but a refreshing detour.
