Music helps to fall asleep, or what other ways would you suggest?

The only thing that helps me Zhu is to watch the movies and fall asleep. Then turn it off later. I hope you can fall asleep. It is so terrible if you cannot.

@zhuhuifen46 Music is great for falling asleep. I sometimes put on an old movie and then just listen to it with eyes closed until I drift off.

This works for me sometimes as well, only in my case, I just assume a relaxed position while watching TV and let my eyes go shut on their own. I usually wake up just as my program is ending though. Probably because commercials are louder than the actual show.

With me it's quite opposite.Music wakes me up.I read fairy tales or light fiction in my mother tongue Hindi.Even reading books on wild life and adventures helps me to get fast asleep.

I'm the opposite, music before I go to bed is just going to keep me up. I prefer to read a book before I go to bed. It's a ritual I've done pretty much ever since I was a young child. Reading a book keeps me relaxed before I head to bed.
Sometimes, taking a nice warm soak in the bathtub goes a long way in relaxing yourself as well. I've heard it works, although I haven't done it. If the weather is nice, going outside for some fresh air can be a wonderful thing as well. Fresh air makes us sleepy.

I listen to binaureal beats most of the time from the youtube. I also have white noise sounds that I use on regular basis. There are some good sounds of nature and night life, forest, waterfall etc. I think those sounds makes it easy for us to get some sleep. So listen to those sounds as much as you can. I don't say that it'd be easier in early stage but once you get used to it then sleep comes in.

There are long (and by "long" I mean 8-10 hours) videos on You Tube of nature sounds. I personally prefer waterfalls. If I have trouble sleeping I just play one of those videos on my iPad. I've heard that any "white noise" will help, though, such as a fan. I also try to do what the doctors tell me to do: don't drink caffeine in the evening, and don't eat later in the evening because those things will keep you awake. Good luck!

I don't know why, but most of the time, when I open my book to learn something, feeling of sleepiness crawls in. But, I never follow this before 'actual sleep'. I normally play a relaxing song and even before the completion of the song, I would have slept.
Also, I make it a point to make my alarm tone (in my phone) with a song that I like 'with some beats'. I have tried relaxing songs in the morning also, but many times I feel like they are in my dream and enjoy it and results in snoozing - leading to rush in the morning. Its like, I am on med - One before to bed and one after

A book, a comfy lying down position and a few minutes are all I need to go out like a light. Works every time, although sometimes I will wake myself up when the book hits the floor with a thud. I can also fall asleep easily in the passenger seat of a car, so the road and engine drone has a lot of sleep inducing influence on me. If you can get comfortable, put on some white noise in the back ground at just a high enough volume to enable you to hear it without it being overwhelming. That may help a little.
