I want a cleaning lady!

I love my home - I really do. But I don't like cleaning it, - I really don't. The thing I can't understand is how all that dust collects so quickly. And how the fridge gets all that gunky stuff in it. To be honest, I love it when I have actually cleaned. I put a bit of lavender essential oil into the mop pail, and everything smells so clean and fresh when I'm done. But it's the kitchen and the bathrooms that seem to need a whole lot more than a quick mop. One of the big problems is I'd actually much rather be outside in the garden, or writing. I just can't seem to get in the groove with cleaning. It's such a thankless task. Worst of all, no one pays me to do it, and yet I dream of hiring a cleaning lady one day, when I get rich. They charge $30 an hour here. Imagine, I'd pay her the big bucks to clean for me, yet if she only cleaned her own home she wouldn't be paid! Something's wrong with this picture. I can clean. I'd be much more motivated though if I could be paid to do it. Wonder if we domestic goddesses could all clean each other's homes, and earn a decent home salary?

If I was rich i'd definitely have a cleaning lady, I hate cleaning it's never ending and there are so many more fun things to do.

@Dragonairy1 We're in agreement on this! I guess the only way to look at it is to be grateful that we're well enough, and able enough to do it.

I love it when things are clean and tidy, but sometimes I just don't want to clean, it's not fun or interesting.
