Do you post your discussions under your interest or only in the "general" area?

I'm starting to wonder weather discussion I post under "interest" show up in general discussions. I posted one a few minutes ago under "websites I visit" and as it is a local website, I'm the only one listed under that group.
Does that mean that other members will not see that discussion unless they go through my profile? Does it not show up under "discussions" where the most recent discussions are?
Have you started posting your discussions under interests after the new changes or do you just put them all under "general"?

My interests are health, fitness, longevity and harmony. Although only in fitness categry there are two others, mostly I remain within my interest

I have posted several discussions using my interests, but it does seem like the only people who are responding to them are my faithful friends. I haven't tried looking for them in the general questions, so I'm not positive of anything. It's supposed to be worth more $$$ to post under our interests, but no one seems to be too interested in what I am, and most discussions I want to post don't fall under any of those categories.

I have been using the interests...but I dont know if they show up in the recent discussions or not! I hope so!

Yeah I know what you mean! I saw one yesterday that was 6 months old! Its kinda funny...That person posted the discussion 6 months ago, and his number was (2).....not likely that he's going to respond to his discussion replies....

I think that there are so many members on here now that even if the question show up under the recent discussions, you only get the ones posted in the last 10 seconds or so. Maybe I didn't go far enough to see if mine ever showed up there.
It's funny though that I keep seeing the same old guestions on the recent discussions list, questions that have been there longer than I have lol.

i usually try to post under one of my interest first... because it's going to attract bigger number of visitor from with the same interest. the discussion will have bigger chance to live longer, then.
