Heeeere She Comes, Miss America!...

(As my mom always says...she's my ordeal.) 
Last night I caught the first half of the Miss America Pageant. Don't know who won as of this writing, but a couple things popped out of the TV at me last night, that I thought I would address here.
First: Hair color. Do they deliberately choose mostly blondes or is it just me?
Second: That swimsuit competition... 
Whoever decided that they should dress those gals in teensy bikinis, (okay, I do see teensier at the beach, but whatever) and then make them bounce down that catwalk like bovine on parade, should be forced to do the same completely naked. 
I know it's considered the thing to do to literally stomp the catwalk, but come on!! There was one contestant who stomped so hard I thought she was going to throw out a hip, and probably a few other (bouncy) body parts too.
Tsk. Whatever happened to gracefulness and elegance? 
I think even Vanessa Williams was embarrassed for them.

I probably won't watch it again. It's certainly gone downhill.

Judy, I think this was the first pageant I've seen in eons. Probably the last one was back in the 80's or something. Was never very interested in it from the get-go, but for some reason decided to give it a watch the other night. Call it morbid curiosity, I guess.
