Should MyLot Have a Mobile App?

Do you think that the site could benefit from the addition of a mobile app? Most people now days use their phones for the internet and social media like Facebook.
I think if MyLot introduced a mobile app, it would be very popular. I know I would definitely download the app and interact using my phone.
As of now, it's too complicated to be here on MyLot using a phone, so I can only use my laptop to interact. Which isn't so bad, but I would just really enjoy the option to use my phone while laying in bed.

It's almost impossible to enjoy MyLot on a phone, as it is extremely hard to navigate. I really believe that MyLot could benefit from a well-made mobile app.

Yes, it is and it is so just because the website was never meant for use on phones.

A mobile app would not be used by me. I don't use my phone for most apps, especially if they require typing. It is too difficult for me to type without errors on my phone, and if I use my mic instead of typing, there is no punctuation. Punctuation is necessary for things to make sense. My fingers are too big for the keyboard so typing things on my phone is really hard. I can stretch texts, but not messenger from Facebook. I think if MyLot made a mobile app, it would go unused by people like myself. But you are right. The younger generation is all about mobile devices.

it is easier to be on mylot using laptops because of their lay out. i havent really attempted to use and post in mylot using my phone, actually. but maybe if i need to increase my earnings I will resort to that. an app for mylot would be really nice! =)

I would love for mylot to create an app. I agree with a lot of the responses that trying to login on your phone is difficult, trying to comment is even worse. Trying to read messages is nearly impossible. When your on the go and sitting in a waiting area, or traveling by public transit it would be nice to be able to mylot during that time. So many of us have limited time to have fun in the middle of the day, this would be a nice change from checking email or Facebook.

I think an app for Mylot would definitely be worth thinking about. I know I would download it as soon as possible, and I also think we would get a wave of newcomers on here from the expansion. I always find myself wishing that mylot was mobile so I can interact on the go or when I'm not home. I hope to see it on the app store some time in the future!

I think a MyLot App would be a welcome thing. I can access the site easy on my phone but it is so hard trying to write a post in the browser.

Sure, if they can handle this! I don't think it's anymore easy to create perfect apps for phones. But the image I have in my mind is tempting
I am not going to gain from it, however. Windows Phones come last in the priority of developers....

I would love it if mylot had a mobile app. I have an iPhone, and it certainly would be eaier. I have to pinch zoom to see what I am doing. It isn't the best way to do mylot, but on my phone, it is necessary. I would like to be able to do it in bed as well, as I could do it while lying down.

I completely agree with you! I have a new phone and the internet data is drained from answering a few discussions whereas an app would come in handy. I know a few friends wanted to join but didn't because there was no app.

On the lighter sides, MyLot team and your friends here want that you take rest and sleep when you are in bed and not MyLot.
Seriously, this question has been asked/raised many times in the past. And the answer to it is No. Come to think of it technically - the freedom that you have when using a website on the normal computers - be it a desktop or even a laptop - that comfort and freedom is just not possible on a cell phone.
It may be thought of as an alternate for people who are interested to use MyLot on a phone. To me, it would not be much effective as the desktop or the laptop.

I would love it. Because my classes will start and I would visit myLot more often if I had an app for my mobile/tablet.

Oohh I was gonna make a discussion about that yesterday, but I forgot :x ...
Well, It probably would make some succes, a lot of people just don't have time to use the computer, but have time to use the cellphone, they would be able to use it anywhere, anytime like other social media.
But it also worries me the fact that mylot is kinda addicting so people would probably spend a lot more time in it? Not that this is bad... But I don't think your boss or teacher would be happy with that(if you have any)

app is always nice as smartphones are the future of gadgets...and apps are the buzz word of this moment. So any site should always try to build an app to attract more people and its popularity will soar high!!
