My daughter is so sweet. Her boyfriend buys her roses from time to time and what does she do? She will share one or two of them with me. So sweet of her. Oh, I used to get roses when I was younger and has those romantic relationships. I was just thinking about that and had to chuckle. One time my boyfriend at the time wanted to bring me some roses. He goes by a wild rose bush when the feeling over takes him. He grabbed at a flower and so help me the entire bush comes up in his hands. So he comes to the door with a rose bush full of lovely rose that has dirt falling from it. It was so funny!

Their reaction might be like "previously it was just flowers. Now entire bush is gone !"

They actually belonged to the apartment that was next door to where I worked. They were so over grown I doubt they were missed.

@valmnz I'd actually be annoyed if my husband did that - I love to see them as nature intended - on the bush!

It's so nice of your daughter to share the flowers with you. I don't get roses very often, I think that my boyfriend thinks I am not very romantic. Deep down, I would love it if he would buy me a red rose as a surprise.

@besweet Yes, but think of it this way: If you give him flowers and he responds to them positively then he might just get the idea that you might also. Know what I mean? Sometimes we have to knock them in the head with a crowbar.

Isn't she a sweetie though. Why don't you buy him one sometime with a very pointed buy well hidden note. See if he picks up on it.

@celticeagle You think I should? I always though that flowers are part of the guy's moves. Maybe I will, this is a great idea actually. Sometimes I need someone to help me think out of the box.

I think we had reached something, not sure it was love. He was an odd one. But he could be very sweet.

In order to get flowers from my husband I had to have a baby! He makes up for it in other ways though.
