He seems to understand his congregation and has made so many good changes like I understand he is going to make it easier to receive an annulment and other such changes.

@Marcyaz he is really comprehensive. And he listen to people. He has called a lot of people and answered some mail. He is a great man.

He has done some good things already like listening to people. I didn't know he had called people and answered the mail himself.

I think this Pope is doing more and helping to change some old laws/rules..much more helpful to be updated then to be strict

It seems as if he is more in tune with people than any of the other popes have been an changing some of the old rules is better.

That will be nice for religious people. He does look like a nice man. I doubt I would go see him even if I was near one of the areas he was coming to. I can't handle crowds and I am not the least bit religious.

@Marcyaz It was a stormy week. People endured the rains just to get a glimpse of him.

I could care less for religion. But it is about time that the vatican and the pope are starting to realize the reality of things in this new world we live in. We must change and evolve.

I believe Pope Francis has brought a fresh new attitude to the Vatican that I hope permeates the world wide Catholic Church.

He has brought a fresh new attitude and he is very popular for this. with so many of the congregation in the US leaving the church this may very well bring some back.
