I see one more online writing site biting the dust

I've seen many such collapses over nearly ten years. These sites are not made to be money making sites, just a bit of pocket money. Which has collapsed this time? And what is the S site?

Which site was that? (It does no harm to mention the name). I have a list of sites to review and it's nice to know ones I needn't bother about.

I know B, but not the other - sorry you had to go through the blow. I've been through enough of biting my nails with these sites - so for now I'm sticking with here and B, even though B seems to be taking a nose dive.

We have all become veterans in facing these kind of let downs.

I think for a lot of those places they have great intentions when they start, but tend to ignore the users who are trying to help them. So when the users lose interest for being ignored, the site can no longer prosper.

I only wrote one article for the S site (I suppose you mean Seraphic...). I never felt comfortable with that site. I believe I should remove even the only article I wrote.

I am glad that you have found a place where you can feel secure. I left B behind months ago when they changed their payout. Haven't been over there for ages. Am glad that I copied each post before putting it up on B so now I don't have to work at getting them all down. I did get some pay from there but also left about $35 behind. Oh well! Could have been worse. I guess there were some that were left waiting for back payments. Don't know what the 'S' one was but hope people fared better. I also hope that M stays awhile this second time around.

i think a lot of us are watching and waiting. i wonder which site it is?

Before joining,better to read some reviews of the site first.That's the best way to know if the site really pays or not.

They give no warning to the ones who are loyal to them and follow them either.

What everyone needs to realize is you cannot earn a living at any writing site.

I left the B site back when they changed their payout and took part of my money away. I went to another site that everyone else was going to and I was there a couple of months, requested a payout and the next thing I knew the site was gone. I have been really leery since, especially when I first came here.

It is sad to see a site fail.

Now that I see which site it is, it's to be expected and I never joined. I have seen that owner/admin before and sites he has started before and they always fail. I do not know if he just collects what little earnings there are and then opens another site?

There have certainly been a lot of changes with writing sites. Some are able to continue, while others don't. Such is life.

Oh i must as well delete all my posts there ? It's a good think my bank is only at $4 . But other than that they didn't pay more or less $300 plus of my posts there .

Wonder what it might be with other sites that let you do transcription, or proofreading?

writin' places such 's this 'n the others now belong to a saturated market. folks 've good intentions gettin' 'em up 'n runnin', but don't seem to 've a good business head on their shoulders. none 'f these places 're guaranteed fer any period 'f time. ya jest ride the ride 'r go sit in the truck.

I have been to several sites that did not pay me before I was able to receive real money. One site was the E that became a B and shifted to F - 3 names all in a row being run by the same admin. I'm so glad it's not around anymore.
