Not always, it depends on the instructor. Like in the Geology Field Trip class I took last winter/spring semester was boring and I barely learned anything. However, this Geology class with a different instructor is not only NOT boring, but very fun. It also helps that she allows us to record the lectures and she is super funny.

Unfortunately I get to do that a lot and I can see the students waiting to go home ...I agree and it is a natural phenomenon because by the end of the day one is eager to finish and go home !

By the time last lecture is delivered, students feel tired and restless and they feel that it should end as soon as possible, therefore, they feel last lecture as boring. However, as far as I am concerned, I always used to attend all the lectures in my college and I did not use to feel bore. I was and in fact I am always curious to learn new things.

Lecture is boring or interested not depends on that it is last or first. Its depends on topicand our interest in topic. If we have interest in topic, that how it is boring?
