Do you report posts in violation of the rules?

As a user who joined today on myLot, I have noticed quite a few topics which are just spam or plagiarism. I have decided to report these, as I feel they have no place.
I will more than likely continue to report such topics, but is my fellow myLot community behind me?
Do you report offending topics which violate the rules?

I haven't come across a single post which I could report. And I'd love if it stays this way.

@helenrich If I feel anything, which is worthy of taking umbrage to,I'll surely report that; no point in shooting butterflies, with rifles!

I always report plagiarists when I discover one, and I stop to put a link to the original discussion for other members. Since one of them deleted my response, I also block them now. Yesterday I stopped to tell to a guy who had started a game type/poll type discussion that his discussion was against the guidelines. Instead of telling me "thank you", he blocked me and started immediately after a plagiarized discussion. It looks like he was not knowing that we can still read and report discussions started by people blocking us.

Some people are just ignorant. There are some people who clearly think they know best... Until they get banned

Yes, I always report spam, plagiarism and anything else which I believe violates the rules. Our admin here is very on the ball and most of the offending discussions would probably disappear even if they weren't reported. Where the eyes of the members are most important is when people spam in responses and comments.

Every morning I check the Most Recent category of post and report the dozen or so spam from india post. Of course if it is not intentional or maybe even grey I just try to let the person know they have violated a rule. I was extended the courtesy last week or so when I unintentionally posted something. But if it is blatant spam I definitely report it.

Welcome to myLot
As a newbie kudos to you that you could cast your net to catch the offenders. Reporting is what we are expected to do when we notice violations

absolutely. I'll have no problem reporting any miscreants I encounter. Great that you doing so too.

Spam is something which always irritates me. I report spam pretty much everywhere I go. Especially a certain Video site owned by a massive global corporation lol

Must be everyone else gets to those spam posts before I do. I don't ever see any of them.
