Global warming or whatever, i have no idea what caused this really loud thunder. it has been raining every single day, at noon and at night and there are lightning and thunder sometimes, i get use to them now. But while we were eating a while ago, there was a thunder that was super loud, my mom and i actually freaked a bit i thought a tree got hit or something why can't it just rain? Mother Nature can be so scary sometimes

I still find it scary when I hear thunder storms too. I always freak out when I see the flashes near the house!

Yes thunder can be really scary it also happen here long ago and the thunder eat already eat 3 of my internet modem, one computer and television . Sound like the thunder so hungry haha.. Sometimes i can feel the thunder with the lighting are so close to our house. I feel that it keep hit and damage our house item only while other house surround us nothing bad happen. So every time raining, or got little thunder sound from far away haha i will turn off my modem and switch off all the electric stuff like computer or television.

It would have been the lightning that took out your internet modem, television and computer. One thing that can help is getting some power strips for your plug ins.

I love a good rain storm but I hate when thunder occurs and your trying to sleep. It's so loud and i'm a light sleeper. We haven't had a good storm in awhile though

Normally a storm doesn't wake me up but every once in a while a really loud thunder will occur and then I will wake up.

I always get jumpy when it's thundering outside, and here we do get some really loud booming ones.

It is scarey at times when it sounds like it is right over your house. We have had enough rain here but it sounds like we will be having more this evening and tomorrow.

i am very grateful for rain though since we live in a tropical country, but too much just causes floods

Where I live, we just don't get thurnderstorms, as they are very rare. We do need rain though, as we haven't had rain since March, so we are very dry, but expected to get rain today. In the fall, it will rain and rain, and just not quit.

If the thunder was loud it means that the lightning stroke near your place. It is true that nature can be scary.

Sometimes if the thunder is especially loud it could be that lightning has struck someplace close by.
