i had such a hard time waking up this morning! in fact, i slept through my alarms and/or turned them off, and woke up at 8:36, exactly six minutes past when i was supposed to be at work
needless to say i was very late, and i still feel like im half asleep. there may not be enough coffee in the world for me today!

@GardenGerty I believe so. The heat of summer is exhausting and the cooler weather put us into hibernation mode.

no thank god, im salary and my supervisor didnt notice. anyway as long as i got my work done it wouldnt be an issue. just sucks to be running so late!!

I hope your work does not get mad at you. Go for a walk each day to get some exercise and that will help you to not feel sleepy.

they didnt even realize lol im salaried and my supervisor luckily doesnt sit near me anymore haha so she didnt notice...
i do exercise usually every day, idk what it was last night !

hahahaha... I know the feeling when that happens. That's why I've learned the value of multiple or consecutive alarms set up. That way I will wake up gradually unless I'm really zonked out and very deeply asleep.

I hope you didn't get in trouble for being late. I only was late a few times for work once because of traffic and the other because I got stuck in my driveway in the winter time.

WE had one really loud thunder storm last night, so I certainly wasn't ready to wake up this morning. And as Anna mentioned... I think that the season might
have something to do with it as well. :)

We should not sleep like this. We should get up early that is before sunrise. At that time some cosmic rays coming to earth can give a lot of energy to us for the whole day. So early to bed and early from bed.

Same here. Right now the time here is 2am. And I am spending time writing comments and answering some emails.I wish to get some sleep but hey, it's just that forcing sleep on myself is not that easy. I am thinking to go to bed at 3am or 4am and this way I can force some sleep on myself. That being said, I also listen to some sleep sounds to make myself sleep.

Today I had to wake up like an hour earlier, and my brain woke me up two hours earlier, I as sleeping in the train even without sitting...
