What time of day is best for posting on MyLot?

It strikes me that the way to succeed here is not only to post interesting stuff but also to box clever when it comes to getting responses and comments. There would seem to be little point in posting at a time when most members are still fast asleep in bed! On the assumption that membership is largely American, is there an optimum time of day for getting good responses? (I would appreciate responses that either referred to UK time or at least said which time zone they are referring to!)

When you want to share something that is the best time to post in MyLot.

Hm! I take your point - the fleeting thought can easily "fleet" elsewhere if you wait for what you think will be the optimum time to post something. I have posted early (for me) today and had some good responses, so I might try posting at intervals through the day to see if there is any notable difference in the level of response. Mind you - another important factor is how interesting people find the topics under discussion - wherever in the world they might be!

@indexer Hi John, nice to meet you. I'm not sure what the best time is, but I seem to get reasonable results from posting after 10pm UK time. I'm a nightowl anyway, so I sometimes am on here till 4am, but I AM retired. That sort of time is the American's mid afternoon and evening.

For me I can come here at any time of the day or night and get some interaction. I am not sure if that is because of where I live, but I would say it does not matter, as myLot is such an international community. You are still getting replies, comments, interaction no matter. Sorry if this is no help to you.

I haven't managed to figure it out yet. I would assume that any time of the day is good, as there appear to be members from all over the world on here. So right now, the people who are in USA/Canada/Mexico etc, are all coming on, while the people in Asia are just leaving.

There is more activity when the members from US are around. That is when conversations happen back and forth. It is the Asians and who get the worst deal as wee are hours ahead. However, once you build a good rapport with others on the site things move smoothly.

Looks like most of the folks with whom I interact regularly here, live on a time zone other than mine, I live in India. There is a time lag usually during sleep hours, the same lag affects them from responding, when I post.
