Personal shopping or family shopping

I don't enjoy shopping at all so it makes no difference to me really! Then again, it depends what kind of shopping it is. If it's groceries then sometimes I'll go on my own if I have time while my kids are at school. Very rarely, I will take the kids with me but they're old enough to look after themselves so they don't need to come with me. I used to hate shopping with my ex because he shops like a girl. I'll go, have a look in the shops I know I can get the stuff I want, get what I want, and come home. He would spend forever going in and out of everywhere, wandering just for the sake of wandering, stopping randomly, shouting and stressing at everyone and everything, complaining if I wanted to stop at something, then complaining if I continued when he stopped. Well, anyway, it was never a nice experience. Going shopping with my boyfriend now isn't too bad. He's a bit slow but he is disabled so I can deal with that! He goes around, looks for what he needs, and comes out again. Proper man shopping! And he usually goes to the supermarket in the late evening when it's not too busy!

i like shopping with family its really a good family booster time and family time spent with others and personal shopping can be fun but also tireing at that depends how tired one can get.

To be honest, most of the time I get to shop alone and I like it since I like to do things quickly.Most of the time it is groceries and household stuff which I would like to finish quickly.But once in a while it is nice to go shopping for personal stuff along with my family, may be eat out...it is a relaxing experience if you have enough time !

I personally like going with the family when I go shopping. It gives us time to spend together and gives us something to do as a family away from the house.

I do enjoy grocery shopping if I have time to spare. If not, then I find it a chore.

@SHOHANA It depends what we are shopping for. If it's just grocery shopping I don't mind who I go with. But if it's clothes or girly things, I'd probably just want to go by myself or with a close friend.

I love shopping and wants to be alone but there's no problem if I have my family going shopping.

I think that I prefer to go alone.
