Suggestions Have a Use

Normally, I don't suggest my posts to others, but today it seems like it might be the only way for any discussions to be seen. Seems that a lot of people - myself included - cannot get discussions to show up under particular users, so we cannot look up discussions that our friends have written. The only tab working properly is Explore. But my suggestions are working. So send me your suggestions, people. I want to find you.

This is the first time I've even been able to get through on Explore. At least it's nice knowing there's still a world out there!

I have been using mostly Explore. I was getting very frustrated. But a few deep breaths and then to bed, hoping for a brighter tomorrow.

The site is inconsistent and I could not get in through suggestions. Others have no activity or discussions showing on their profiles. I did find you, though and did get through. I also got through today on one of my own posts from notifications.

I have found the Explore, Suggestions and Notifications by email to be the best way to get into discussions, but nothing seems to work for everyone.

Okay so I've this funny thing happening to me. I'm getting this timeout error the entire time and I thought of sharing my discussion to make it seen. The thing is though, I can't even load the page where my discussions are. Plus I probably have to scroll on forever if I were to find it on the Explore page.

Try No Responses or Most Recent on Explore - if it is a new post, you should find it right away.

@Rollo1 I find it is a good way to get discussions started, as otherwise as you said we hardly get any discussions started.

Explore wasn't working for me either, but it is now. People and discussions still aren't though. But yay! This is more than I had working yesterday! I suggest discussion both mine and others, that people want to weight in on, but not every single thing I write normally.

Well, I doubt that many posts will be showing up for people, so it's probably not worth it to write too many anyway. Suggest what you can and see if it helps.

After you submit your post, the post comes up on the page in front of you. Suggest is in the same menu as Respond, Like, Tag, etc., under the post when you hover over the bottom right under the post.

I prefer the 'explore' and' people' tabs I also sometimes access member's profiles. Suggest has the same posts that we find in 'people' and 'explore'

Normally, they do. But during the glitch no one could access member profiles or discussions under the tabs. That was why I said to suggest until it was fixed.

i don't remember a glitch like this before. i remember suggesting GAA's posts to others last month when the site restarted. when i suggested a post recently, i thought i would be able to pick and choose whom to send it to, but i was surprised when it went through immediately (i suspect) to everyone i suggested GAA's post before. can't we reset it?

I get a list of my followers with an option to suggest to each one individually. Try again, I think they changed it from the way it was before.

I have to make sure I am following all the people I think I am following. Sometimes, I am surprised to find out I wasn't following someone but the system is a bit glitchy.

I haven't sent any suggestions as of yet, as I have been getting responses to my discussions, and that really makes me happy. I do however, get plenty of them throughout the day. I will do the ones that interest me, and those that don't I just skip them.

As I have mentioned before, for me, with my limited time to spend on the site, I count on the suggestions list to find discussions started by those I follow.

I am sending out suggestions today. It seemed things had become sluggish and I hope no one minds! Glad you don't. Personally, I appreciate them. It gets me going quickly.

Half the time I am not sure whether there is a glitch on the site and something is not working or I am the glitch and it is me that is not doing it properly lol...
