Reactivated my account on zoompanel to take surveys

For years I have been a member of a survey site called zoompanel that I would take surveys for and earn points toward gift cards. When I changed my internet provider months back I forgot to change my email with zoompanel so I haven't been receiving survey invites. Due to this my account was deactivated. I am glad I noticed this as zoompanel was one of my favorite earning sites to take surveys on. I contacted them today and told them what happened and they told me to sign up again with my new email address and to let them know when I do and they will credit my new account with the 65 points that were in my account when it was deactivated. I did what they said and took what surveys were available for me tonight. I earned 165 points already. Plus it will be the extra 65 in my account when they add it. It only takes 2,500 points to get a $25 gift card for amazon, visa or walmart. Whats awesome about this survey site is that even if you don't qualify for the survey just for trying you get 5 points to your account. Not many survey sites do that so it makes it seem more worthwhile for me to attempt their surveys.

That's awesome! I wish it was that easy to get back into the Pinecone Research panel. I was deactivated because I wasn't taking surveys, and they don't currently have a need for my demographic profile. Does ZoomPanel have a referral system? Send me your link if they do.

I never bothered with Pinecone Reasearch. I tried to join once and they wouldnt let me and then somehow I got joined up and didn't feel like bothering with all the other sites I was already doing. I have been inactivated from some sites and not allowed to have the points back. That sucks when that happens. I am usually active only during the school year I take the summers off to spend time with my kids. I just looked and I do not see anything about a referral link but thanks for asking. I logged in today and see I was already credited with the 65 points so my score is at 230. I took a survey and earned 50 points today. I'm still taking them right now until they run out of surveys for me for the day.

@shaggin Sounds fantastic. I really liked Pinecone because they paid so quickly by PayPal, and every survey they invite you to take is one that they've already screened you for. It's not like some of those sites where you get into the survey and suddenly you're disqualified. They sent me a few products to try, too. I got to do a comparison of baby wipes at one point, which saved me a bundle for that month because they sent me several full-sized packages to try.

@yukimori wow I guess I have really been missing out on Pinecone reasearch then as all that sounds great. I love when I get free things to test out! I've gotten lots of things over the years with different sites. I guess next time I see a thing to be able to sign up for it I will join and stay active!

I don't do surveys with them, but that was super nice of them to do that. On some sites if your ISP switches they think you're trying to make multiple accounts which would mean more money they have to pay out. I guess that's why they did that. I will keep them in mind if I'm looking for more surveys.

@shaggin Yes be very careful. Don't save your points as you might have a lot of money's worth and could lose it. If it's PayPal I cash out at the lowest one, if it's a gift card, I try to cash out around $25-$50 level.

Yes I didn't expect that they would return my points like they did. It was unexpected and very nice of them! Most sites would not give the points back but would have just made me start over at the beginning. I have to be careful what sites my daughter and I sign up for as some only allow one person in a house to earn from that site.

That is great. This is the first time I have heard of this site. I will check it out.
