I have heard so much of this thing that "I will bring stars for you my love"!!"I will give you my life for you"!! in films. Now I wanted to see these things happen only in reel life or people have such feelings in real life too??
So if you have loved ones give your opinions!!.And if you don't have one imagine one in the future and give your point of opinion!!
Honesty will be appreciated !!

I am a single person. I found that as you go towards 30s and remain single, everyone leave you. Parents don't care about you because you are single and not settled. Friends find you less interesting and more of threat because you are not married. Siblings think that you're wasted and not worth it. And if you approach lover or friend in relationship they dont want you for life.
I don't have anyone to give my life for. So me and my shadow stand for each other.
Based on the things that happened to me, i'd never give my life to anyone. Not even parents or wife or lover or kids. I know some people think it's selfish but they have not lived my life.

And as you become older, they want to start transferring their responsibilities on you. Beyond that they start counting how much they will inherit from you since you do not have kids anyway. Some can be insensitive enough to ask you on your face.

@vandana7 I feel nothing but love and respect towards you. That makes me a probable inheritor, don't you think?

@hora_fugit ..seriously, when they ask how much will you write to us, and grin, I could punch their faces. What is so nice or jocular about being told you die so that me or mine will be enjoy life?

I have seen quite a few bachelors and spinsters lead wonderful lives. Looks like being single is not a handicap.

I will not do that. Not intentionally, at least.
P.S. Yet to have a child to verify the last part...

@mkrnex No... but it's children only towards whom I am not sure about the extent of affection. They can surely kill you!

@hora_fugit ...that is interesting. I believe you. They can kill with their sweet smiles and naughtiness.

The celestial part, seems fine during the honeymoon period, but once you run into the snafus of life, things surely go awry.

Man if you die first then they will surely suffer as they depend on you?First of all make them independent if economically, if emotionally then I have no answer!
