Some news about Bubblews' co-founders that you will not read on Bubblews.

I exchanged a few PMs yesterday with a friend and we came to talk about Bubblews. I left this site long ago at the beginning of this year, but I have not deleted my account, and I continued to follow the discussions of the team, especially Arvind : this guy is so snob that he is really funny. He is silent since the end of July, and I was a bit worried about his health. Good news ! Jason and Arvind are healthy and wealthy ! Jason is now "president & co-founder of Sweeble" on his Twitter account (@TheRealJZ) and has completely forgotten his Bubblews nightmares, and Arvind is the other co-founder of this new internet start-up venture.
Alright, you already knew this. But have you heard something about the Sweeble party last July in San Francisco ? It was a fun party with a lot of alcohol, cute girls, a stripper, and Arvind wearing a tuxedo and a bow tie. I give you the link to the pictures of the party on Sweeble.
Both Jason and Arvind are very active on Sweeble (@jason @avi) where I found a picture showing them together around a BBQ last week. At least, if they don't pay anymore Bubblews members, they are healthy and wealthy, and I am reassured.
Now I am also a little bit upset. I think that they are still earning a few cents daily from the external views coming to some of my posts. I have not received an invitation for the Sweeble party, and I ask myself if I have to continue to sponsor their parties and their BBQs or if I should better remove my posts ? Or should I ask for an invitation and buy a bow tie ? What would yo do ?

Sweeble was (and still is) a disaster. Not only is the domain name (sweeble.com) owned by someone in the UK but so is the trade name 'Sweeble'. First they 'invented' the name, then they discovered that it already existed, so they tried to buy it and finally they just banked on how expensive it would be for the owner to sue them and used it anyway!
Arvind Dixit and Jason [Whatever] are shysters who can sweet-talk many people into giving them money for a start-up but cannot actually run a business - in fact, they aren't really interested in doing so. All they are interested in is getting funding, making a small name for themselves and drawing a, doubtless, quite adequate salary whilst shafting those who work for them and conning their employees into shafting the members of the sites they create.

@LadyDuck They started to scam before by not paying many members but what they did at the end of 2014 stopped my activity. I am sure they earn with a few technical posts I put there about Linux and embedded Linux. They had no success among members, but they were receiving visitors everyday from search engines, and I was earning a little passive income with them until they stopped to pay for views. It is why I want to delete all my posts.

Nice to see the money they owe me and their other Bubblews followers being put to such frivolous personal hedonistic use by them

@topffer Delete? Why delete when you can copy and paste this discussion into each and every article you have there?
*cough* I may have some chicken pictures you can upload along with those articles, but I suspect you'd get more views by sharing some of those party pics.

I couldn't get the Sweeble app on my tablet and I don't have a smartphone so I can't keep up with them. I should have a gander, though. I am not feeling very sure about the B- site. I am owed money since June, just about the time people went a-sweebling.

You should go and wear only the bow tie to the party.

@topffer LOL - If he didn't win the election, then did he at least remove the seat as promised?
Oh my goodness, I had forgotten about that but do remember it now that you have mentioned it. As I recall, you refused to wear the appropriate attire, so the lesson was never done.

I have no clue who is who in the pictures. I guess it really doesn't matter. However, I think you should buy a bow tie, and perhaps crash the party. I'm mean join in the celebration. Yes, that is what I meant.

@TexanTornado To not have somebody like you to crash the party. To tell the truth, I have bow ties, but I did not wore one since so many years that I would probably have hard times to knot the tie.

@topffer Oh but I wouldn't crash the party. I'm an after all. You might want to start practicing for the next big party.

For me, I have already saved my posts and I will soon delete them. I am not sure if I will be able to do it in a few weeks/months. Many years ago, I started a small website on a site offering free space. The owner sold the site, and the new owner kept the content online during several years but suppressed the ftp access, so I could not delete or update my site. I don't want to experience something like this with Bubblews. If Bubblews closes it is ok, but with owners like these 2, who knows what will happen ?

I have the same issue. I was kind of waiting for that big new thing they mentioned. I might have missed it.

There is also Bear in the pictures, and his linkedln page says that he is also a co-founder of Sweeble and leaves/has left Bubblews this month. The trademark Sweeble in USA is still owned by Bubblews LLC but they have created another society, Sweebleapp LLC and they will probably change the name of the app to Sweebleapp to have no more relations with Bubblews. Then Bubblews will be ready to close.

The only reason I'm still there is because of the people. Right now I'll keep things as they are. It's a shame they still owe people money.

@topffer They weren't the first, but they were the most prominent. I think MyPage5 had tons of issues, and there was another one that a bunch of us were on. I can't think of the name of that one right now, but the layout was red. Isn't that so helpful?

@Susan2015 It certainly would have been interesting had a Bubblews writer or two gotten wind of the party and showed up.

It makes me want to start deleting posts, until they are all gone, I save what I want, and then shut the account down.

Is "this" what goes on while our fingers toil over there? We've been hanging on, giving our support though biting our nails - and for what?! I can tell you where they can shove their bow ties - ah, but I won't go there. I forgot about that whole Schweeble thing (hey, I never got my invitation) but looks like they are the ones who forgot about us! After all that work and sheesh we weren't even offered an appetizer! I'd go get a giant bubble canon and crash the party - may they slip and slide in a big bubbly mess!

@topffer I wonder if that Sweeble venture will go down the drain with the bubbles! Or maybe they will have to throw it into the bbq along with their burning bow ties. But yep, they probably have another sick trick up their sleeves already - and are planning the next party!

@much2say As long as they find people to give them funds for these kind of projects, they have no reason to stop. Sweeble is a mix between Twitter and Instagram, with nothing else new than a counter counting the number of seconds people spent on photos, and I don't think that this feature will bring many users to them (When I receive a picture, the time I spent or not on it should concern only myself and not the sender).

It looks like they have all moved to Sweeble, but Sweeble looks like a failure for the moment : only 1000 to 5000 persons have installed it on an Android phone. They will probably have to find/start another scam next year to pay for their future parties.

@topffer All of my emails say that they have my redemption on file. One email (from Val) says that he had no ETA when they would pay out, that email struck me as odd as he was trying to tell me no ETA=no payment. Then I had a reply from that same email from someone named Jimmy a couple of weeks later.

@Susan2015 You should go back and read the post that I put up yesterday. I cannot believe that it hasn't been deleted, I was pretty steamed when I wrote it. That just makes me believe stronger that nobody is looking after the site except for that 1 moderator.

Not interested in Sweeble, bow tie party or anything that those two have come up with or will come up with. I honestly feel so bad for the people who still write on Bubblews for the money.

@cahaya1983 They have been removed by their authors. Bubblews deletes accounts, but you cannot ask them to delete your posts.

@topffer I logged in last week and saw some people who don't have any more posts on their profile. Mine were still there even though I left almost a year ago. I wonder if Bubblews removed those people's posts or they deleted the posts themselves.
