How much time you spend on the internet per day?

I somehow feel that I am doing injustice to my life by spending a lot of time on the internet instead of investing this same time in the real world. I spend around half of my day or more browsing the internet daily. I am connected through my laptop, tablet or mobile phone. I truly want to get out of the virtual world and appreciate the beauty of the real world. I have lately cancelled my account on some social media sites, so that I don't go on those sites again; which I feel is a loss of time. What about you? How much time you spend on the internet per day, and why?

Every time after work, I will switch on my television to my favorite cable channel while simultaneously logging on to some sites in search for better pay for work at home. I was earning from online for some dollars a few years back which includes Mylot until it became a free site. Have not tried this new Mylot setup for now. I know I gave less than 10 feedback yesterday and only earned only a little over a cent. Will check my account tomorrow and see how will I gain because I know I contributed more than 15 insight now as compared to yesterday. With the old Mylot site, I was able to earn $1 per day but I don't know if can earn that much again with this new process. I'm back with Mylot because I have to earn additional money for my 3 kids. Been scammed so many times in the last 10 years that I am up to my neck in debt. I get sad whenever I think of them. Almost a decade worth of investments along with blood, sweat and tears went down the drain with nothing in exchange but heartache and frustrations. Will keep on Mylotting until my situtation improves or until I find a better way to earn as it is hard to find a decent paying part time work as well as honest paying companies.

I respect what you wrote but I will advise you not to focus too much on the earning. I don't. Just focus on the quality content that you add on this site by creating new discussions and by responding to discussions created by others. Think about the difference you can make by sharing and learning here. It's an amazing site. Honestly enough, I am not here to earn money though I do have debts too. I am here because I just love the knowledge that flows here. It's awesome. I hope your situation gets better. All the best in life.

@excellence,not more than one or two hours.Yes,this is the amount of time I spend on the internet everyday. In fact,I would have spent a little more time in the virtual world, but my busy, daily schedule doesn't allow me to do so.Still I am more than satisfied.Like you,I want to appreciate the beauty of the real world.

Salute to you my friend. I wish I can bring down the amount of time I spend on the internet to the one or two hours too someday, though somehow connecting to the internet is important as well.

I believe 8-10 hours a day. Probably way too much time, but I do a lot of online activities to earn money. It really feels like a job which I really enjoy.

I spend far too much time on the internet especially now I am retired but I just love my online sites and if I have to out I find it annoying and can't wait to get back! It's not just something the young do now either. As I walked through my home town the other day I watched an old man of around 80 tapping away on a tablet. We're all at it!

I spend a considerable amount of time online...but only when I'm home. I never go online using my phone, so at home is really the only place where I am often online. I have several sites I use for earning pocket change to help out with our finances, so I guess being online for several hours a day is justified in that case.

But I somehow feel that I am doing justice to my life by spending a few of time on the internet instead of investing this same time in the real world. I spend around 2-3 hours s day or more browsing the internet daily. I don't want to miss to see the beauty of the real world at any cost. We need not to cancel your account on some social media sites...just be far for few hours

I use to spend a lot of time online, but then I found I was missing out on a lot of things. I spend usually the evening before bed online or when I have a little free time.

Do you have strain on the eye, for fixing the screen? I do feel it often.
