@SHOHANA 6? I've never know there to be 6 seasons. There's only Winter, Autumn, Spring and Summer. Winter is my favourite though!

Hi Shohana. This is a great topic. I think it's very important to prepare for the different seasons, and especially for winter in some cases. My area is prone to ice storms, which can keep people from getting out for days at a time, and sometimes without power. Extra food, clothes, blankets, and more are important to have on hand just in case.

Hello! I am an Indian Bengali presently living in Delhi. I know that winters of Bengal (both in West Bengal and in Bangladesh) are mild. So, less preparation is required. In Delhi, from the end of October (after Diwali/Kali Puja) elaborate preparation is started to cope up with coming winter. Sweaters, Shawls, Jackets, Wind-cheaters, Blankets are taken out from the Store-room and washed and dry-cleaned till the mid-November.
