I hate the thought of facebook having a dislike button soon

I guess for real this time facebook is going to have a dislike button that they are adding. I absolutely hate the thought of this. I think facebook bullies will use this as a way to hurt others feelings.
I will be confused by it at times. If I am writing about a bad day I am having and someone clicks dislike will that mean they dislike what I am writing or that they dislike that I am having a bad day.
I think this dislike button will be a bad thing no matter what and confuse people as well. I will be less likely to use facebook once it has this dislike button feature.

Ahh I had forgotten all about how mylot used to have a like and dislike button but all we could see was who liked our post. I guess if that is how it would be on facebook it wouldn't be so bad but if we can see who dislikes our posts it is going to hurt our feelings and cause fights I think. I guess I will just have to wait and see how it goes.

Thank you for commenting on my post and enclosing that link. I went to snopes and thoroughly read the article and am still slightly confused. I think Mark Zuckerburg pretty much feels the same way I do based on what he has said. I think being able to show people we don't like that they are having a bad day without them thinking we don't like their post is good! I am not sure how they will go about this unless we are able to rate a sad face or something instead of a like. I guess it will be interesting to see what they come up with and how this new change will effect facebook. I hope it will be for the good and not the worse as I was worried about.

I think it will end up being really irritating.

As it is nothing real is going on there and this too will be unreal used by those who are prejudiced.

I think you are right about this.
Mind you, I've largely given up with Facebook. I post very little there at the moment, so the addition of the new dislike button will not affect me too much.

I hope Facebook owners changed their mind. Bullies are going really use it. Not all FB users are mature enough to understand what is right. I am sad about this news.
