Have you been to Physical Therapy?

I just began a new regimen of physical therapy. I had gone previously due to a partial disability.
I'm tired. I'm sore. I know that in the long run I'm going to feel better. For the rest of the day, I think I'm just going to relax to be refreshed for tomorrow.
Have you had a personal injury or other issue which required physical therapy? Did it help you? Do you continue to do the exercises even after you stop going to therapy regular appointments?

I wemt to physical therabpy several years ago, for my knee, as the kneecap was out of place. I can't remember how long I was in physical therapy, but however long it was, it didn't help. My husband at that time, wasn't happy, that they were doing nothing for it. Come fo find out, I needed surgery, and that upset me to think I was nevert told that. Once I had the surgery, everything was ok and still is to this day.

Well, I'm sorry to hear that the treatment wasn't successful for you. I am happy to hear that you finally got the correct diagnosis and proper treatment. I'm glad you are doing better!

@Lady_Justice yes I am. I will say though, that when it gets cold in the winter, it will start aching, but other than that, I can walk on it just fine, and it is doing okay otheriwse.

@rosekiss that's such good news. It can be very frustrating to be in pain all the time. I know.
Hopefully, we'll have a nice, mild winter, so you won't suffer too much.

Yes, it takes a lot of self-discipline to stick with the routine faithfully. I'm far from perfect in that regard, but I do try to do it with some regularity. I think it does help more when you're more consistent.

I went for a neck injury in the past. It didn't "cure" me, but I was able to get at least some relief. That's too bad that it wasn't able to help you. I feel for you. Neck and back problems can be awful.
