Do you own a dishwasher?

Do you have a dishwasher in your kitchen? If so, do you use it regularly, or do you still frequently end up washing dishes by hand?
How well does your appliance work? Does it get dishes clean or do you practically have to wash dishes before you put them in? Maybe you just rinse them.
I used to have a dishwasher, and I have to admit that it was convenient. I really don't enjoy washing dishes, so I kind of miss it. Yet, every time I think about getting a new one, I wonder if it's really worth it.

I hate washing dishes. My apartment does not have a dishwasher and no room for one. So, I bought a countertop dishwasher. It holds six place settings. It's not going to fit the pots and pans, but still, it's not bad since those are all I ever do by hand.

Cool. I wasn't aware of such a thing. A counter top appliance could be rather handy. I never knew they made the smaller versions. Thanks for sharing that info.

My dishwasher failed earlier this year. I haven't replaced it yet and don't intend to. My small kitchen is better without that extra appliance and although it required some adjustment to my lifestyle, I have now established a new routine for the washing up. I think it's better doing it by hand....
