I heard this on the news. This is a true story about a man went into a McDonald's to rob it with a loaded gun. When the people inside realized what was going on a lady started praying. The man trying to scare everyone aimed his gun toward the ceiling to fire a round, but the gun never fired. He tried again and again but it would not fire. Being frustrated and scared he would get mobbed by the customers he exits the building. Once outside he tries his gun once more. He fires it into the air and it goes off. So he goes back into McDonald's to finish the job. Back inside he tries firing a round off into the ceiling again, and again it miss fires. Buy that time the cops are there and places the man under arrest....Talk about prayer! My Article

Prayers can move mountains of problems out of our way. We just need to trust Him with our problems instead of trying to fix them ourselves. Lord take control of my life have Your way.

dlr297 You are absolutely right. If we really realized how powerful prayer was we'd be doing it a whole lot more and I am convinced things would be different in this old world we live in. Although I have to say I see God's footprints all around. He is busy working in our lives and those around us. He is faithful and True to His Word. The gates of hell shall not prevail against the church of Jesus Christ!

It just goes to show that God answers prayer. He tried and tried, but with God in control, he wasn't able to hurt anyone. God is good all the time, and all the time God is good.

God answers our prayer with a: 1) yes; 2) no; 3) wait. This time God answered with a big Yes!

God never fails in our prayers,he is always there to answer our vivid prayers. Thankful no one hurts and for the man took it as a lesson for him,not to overtake god's power.

@Butchcass4 He may do peculiar things but He always has a reason for it, even if we don't understand what it is at the time.
