Do you meditate?

I love meditation. With the burden of responsibilities and commitments in my life, I often take time out from my busy schedule to celebrate myself by meditating in my own little space. Though I have my duties towards people, I believe my primary duty is towards myself. I always value my existence and my freedom matters a lot to me. I am in an effort to maximize my meditation's time. I love the 'me-time' and when I meditate, I connect my the silence of my being to the silence of the universe. It is the most wonderful feeling ever, to release some 'dark' energies and to renew myself.
Do you meditate also? What is your experience?

Don't you think that you deserve a 'me-time'? We live a life for others most of the time.

@excellence7 Yes, I know that I deserve a "me-time", right now my husband is not very well and I have to take care of him first. Let's hope I can relax a bit in the near futrue.

I do some breathing exercise sitting down and that is what I call meditation. It is me and me alone with my breath

Great. I also do breathing exercise, though I am not too regular these days. I inspire myself from Swami Ramdev.

Meditation makes you calm. And calm mind solves the problem. I think many of us are learning how to meditate and managing the life better this way. I can't tell you how much that has helped me but I am still on the path to find that out myself. I guess in order to be calm on regular basis, one has to work harder. Also avoiding drama helps a lot too.
