How old is your baby when he/she started to walk independently?

When did you observed that your baby walk independently without using walker and holding anywhere? Or when did you observed that your baby can walk alone and comfortable with it? What are the ways in order for the baby to learn walking independently? What are your baby's method or strategies in order for him/her to learn walking? My baby is actually more than 1 year already as she is not that walking independently, she is still holding somewhere while she walks and afraid to balance herself.

My daughter is 3 years old now. As I remember, she can walk independently in her first birthday. She has quick growth and that's awesome. I really miss that days :) Every baby is different. Some has quick growth and some has slower than others. It's still considered as normal for one year old baby hasn't able to walk independently. Soon enough, she will do it and walk faster that give you some headache

You are so lucky that at the exact 1 your daughter was able to walk. Although in my baby's case it was 1 and more than 1 month. Something like that.

@Metatronik No need to worry because every baby is different. I'm sure in the right time she can do what it should be

It's just different for each child. My elder son walked when he was 10 months old, whereas my younger daughter walked when she was 14 months old. I think my little girl is a more careful person, perhaps she needed to make sure she can really walk, then only she walked independently. Once she started walking, she walked stable. We didn't use any tools to help the kids to learn walking, and didn't push them to learn as well. they just liked to hold on something when they learned to walk. My son liked to push a stool. I believe when they are ready, they will be able to learn.
