I really feel like there is no such thing as privacy online any more. We all chat, and share, and visit, but sometimes, people just give out way too much personal information on the Internet, if you ask me. I've seen people tell so much info on social networks (about not only themselves but also their families, friends, etc.) that any stalker could easily make a map to their homes. It's kind of ridiculous.
I also tend to think that no one really, truly, cares what someone's status is when they change it numerous times each day. Sorry, but most people are just not that interesting.

Very true. I tend to be pretty cautious with private, really personal stuff and identifying info, most of the time. I know a lot of people that tell their life stories online though and are very casual with giving out info.

Hey Lady_Justice!
Indeed. Security is a must for us all, and we should be aware of what we share in the social networks. Some people like to post where are they going on their vacation and how long will they stay there. And it's even easier for the robbers to notice, by their post, that the house was left alone (and it gets ridiculously easier when the person says that their pet is going to be handed to a familiar during their vacation). There are lots of mistakes we usually make when posting things. Talking about us is not as simple as it seems to be and, often, it's not as interesting as it looks like.
Have a nice time, Lady!

I am very careful what information I share online, becasue I certainly wouldn't want it to get into the wrong hands. You are right that we just aren't safe online, but if we do our part not to share everyything, then we can have some piece of mind anyway.
