Year by year people spend lot of money travelling, arranging flight tickets, hotels etc for enjoying holidays. Do they really enjoy? How much time they are taking back to come to normal life after that. I have a suggestion. Instead if we spend our holidays with the loving persons of our family, sharing our joys, sorrows, making wonderful dishes jointly, small outing in the evening, a film at Theatre and having a cup of icecream. Ok what is your view, tell me friends.

You have a point there.I have seen people traveling to places just to say they also have visited such and such places. It is better to spend time happily with our loved ones than spend money and time on travels we do not enjoy.

That is what I meant, At least for one time we should spend a holiday with our family and once we feel that heavenly happiness, we will continue that.

The travel bug has bitten us for sure, it has become a status symbol. It is common to see people outdoing each other boasting where he, or she had been the last summer or this Diwali, and what he/she did there and so on and so forth. It is outright ludicrous.

So true Irfan. We should not spend our valuable money and time for unnecessary travel. Travelling for travel is good but not good for spending holidays.

@rashmiravishibu Most of our tourist destinations, have got rubbished, with this surplus, of the tourists. With the powers that be, unwilling to keep such destinations well maintained. The least said of the fare that the 'tourist', has to bear by way of 'accommodation', the better, in plain words, it is awful!
