She ain't no Lady... She be my gun-totin' horse ropin' bes' friend!

She slaughters our language. Her 'puter has given up the ghost a couple of times. Just can't keep up with her disregard for all the red thingy's, even when the poor thing's trying mightily to present a reasonable-looking document.
She doesn't care about fine new things. But give her a bunch of old torn jeans, and you'd think you'd unlocked heaven for the woman. She'll prolly set to with voracious glee, ripping, cutting, yanking a large needle through them with a pair of pliers. Out of those tattered things a beautiful quilt will emerge. It won't be for her - just for someone she loves. She loves a lotta folks.
We go together like peas 'n carrots, this friend and I. Our interests mesh, although she has her horses, and I have my ocean. But we both have gardens, and their pests. And we understand each other so much it seems a cryin' shame we've not yet met.
Love you, party animal! Oh yes, she's @crazyhorseladycx.

She is definitely one of a kind, a one-off. It's not so easy to carve out your own spot in the world of internet social writing but she's definitely recognizable everywhere she turns up. What a nice tribute to her that you've written. Only a truly decent person could inspire such praise from a friend.

ya gals're gonna jest 've to stop this sorta thingy, yer words jest too kind to this ol' heart. ya aint that far a piece from here, ms. sharon. who knows?? one day i might regain my drivin' ability, used to make that trek in jest one day.

Simone - thanks for the compliment! I'm looking forward to meeting her in person one of these days. I'm hoping the weather will be good, as I'm a bit nervous of the storms in her area. It would really be good if we could sit in her sanctuary, but I don't really mind, as we could be cosy inside too. She could do her quilting, and I'll do my knitting. And of course we'd be talking and laughing a lot too.

@allknowing She always does, don't worry, but she's a busy gal too, and has lots of farm chores to do! Those horses take a lot of work and time, but she adores them.

Brilliant...what a lovely thing to do... great tribute ...I half guessed from the title who it was....
She is a lovely lady, and has not much idea of how many people's lives she's touched, and how many people love her from across many miles....
