I tried one today but haven't gotten the money in my bank for it yet. Says they confirm instantly but I haven't gotten confirmation yet.

Yes they do work, as I earned $.013 cents for a few that I did. I watched some videos and I played games to earn. All the rest, I just deleted and didn't do them.
