Why are people so hateful?

I am very disturbed with the hatefulness that many people display. I live in a very unsupportive community. People hate you for what they think you have, when in actuality we all have the same thing. Everyday people say negative comments, it really hurts. I pray to God for dilliverancecfrom this horrible situation I have stepped into from seven years ago until now.

I agree completely! I don't know why people have to hate and be mean to others just because they are jealous of what you have. The world is a terrible place, and I think it's just going to get worse before it gets better.

You know this is completely so true.
One ex-coworker Sid to me "people do not have any love in their hearts for anyone anymore".
People seem to be fast to judge one on every level of life, event o their appearance.
It's as if they want to make one feel out of place!
I was always told to keep hope alive, but now there is a very slim chance.

@chooseyourmissy1234 Main thing we can do is ask God to help these people. Maybe if more people believed in God, the world would be a better place.

I have lived in Asia all my life.
I know what you mean. I have encountered some who think others have an easier ride and hence become jealous.
However, we all have to face similar issues and the higher we rise the harder is the fall. It is the attitude that counts.
I find solace from within as I cannot control how others react though I can set a good example - siva
