Sunday Dinner

When I was a kid, we went to church every Sunday. Afterward, we always had a big meal either at Grandma's or at our house. Frequently, we'd have a big pot roast with homemade mashed potatoes, gravy, and vegetables. I can almost smell it cooking now.
Actually, that is what I smell cooking. I wasn't able to make it to church this morning, due to health, but I have a roast in the oven. When the kids and grandkids get done with church, they'll be over to have a big Sunday Dinner.
Ah, some traditions are worth keeping around, even if you have to "adjust" them a little.
I hope all of you are having a wonderful Sunday.

It usually works out better on the weekends, with everyone's crazy schedules these days. It's usually dinner, but if not, I do the big breakfast thing. It's nice to make time to relax and catch up with loved ones.

Going out is always nice too. My husband and I usually try to that occasionally, just the two of us.
