I'll never force my religion upon my kid. When He/She is old enough I'll explain the differences and He/She can choose between Marvel Or DC. I sure hope i find a DC person ...i need a Yin Yang I prefer Marvel. How about you?

I am not entirely sure what milk has to do with religion (except, perhaps, as in "a land flowing with milk and honey" or "the milk of human kindness" but I'll have a go. You see, Marvel in my country is a well-known brand of powdered milk (for adults, not babies) so I can only assume that its opposite is Direct Cow. Personally, when I like any milk at all (which is not often) I prefer milk that has been optically inspected - "Past yer Eyes", as I believe it's called - so I suspect that is sort of 'middle of the road'. I would certainly reject all upstart and modern versions which are not the True Milk. Things like 'Soya Milk' and 'Almond Milk' and that abomination, 'Coffee Whitener' are, to my mind, things which "Sating" invented to tempt Eve into the evils of Waistline worship. My children are all grown now and have long ago chosen their milk products. One will drink only Soya or Almond milk, I regret to say, and another has to watch her sugar levels (which I can accept). The third is, I believe, of my persuasion but sometimes takes his milk neat - something I can never bear to do. In spite of there being very opposite affiliations in our family with regard to the white stuff, we all get on pretty well together. There is no half-and-half about it and, although we often go our separate wheys, we rotate about a common Full Cream.

Batman for me because "I only work in black. And sometimes very very dark grey." Also, I find him real cute.

@Rosekitty True. When I was fond of these comics, the only ones available here were DC. And then years after I saw a couple from Marvel, but by the time, I think it was too late for me to buy them. From the ones I know - Spiderman and Megneto would be my preferred ones. I hopped on to their website and they have a really wide range to select from

Opposites do attract. I was told once that one balances the other out. One person's strengths are the other's weakness. Unfortunately, I'm not finding it a happy medium as I have absolutely nothing in common with my husband and wonder daily what the heck I'm doing here.

@Marcyaz But then I have to look at the whole picture going back to our first meeting, our break-up, and then meeting up again a year later and believe that all things happen for a reason and that God brought us together for a reason. Probably for me to learn patience.

@patgalca Patience is a difficult thing to learn and it does take a long time. Good Luck to both of you.

@Rosekitty I'm sure he does. He is grown with a family of his own and I know he takes my grandkids to see the movies but I'm not sure which one is his favorite.

I'm more of a Marvel fan. It's a more dynamic universe where differences aren't automatically accepted as hero material. Mutants are persecuted, Heroes like Spiderman are treated like crap because of an image, and other things are interesting there. There's more of a reality theme, as opposed to how Metropolis is futuristic and Gotham feels like it never got out of the early 1900s.

I never gave them any thought actually. When I was a kid i read comics and I didn't really care from where as long as I liked them. DC and Marvel are both very popular.

It'a important to keep the balances in every family. I am certain that your kid will make the best choices and you will be able to keep that balance, that's what parents do every day.

I am not picky. My daughter and I have been watching Arrow on Netflix and that is DC. Constantine(RIP) was awesome and is DC. As a family, we watch all the Marvel movies. And don't forget Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter. My ABC channel sucks so I haven't been about to watch Agents of SHIELD on TV this season.

I remember comics. I don't remember having a particular favorite. I was a voracious reader and would read anything I could get my hands on. One time a friend of my my stepdad's brought me a whole stack of comic books. I was in heaven! I still read the Sunday comics in the paper and watch cartoons on the telly, as long as it's not sponge bob.
