Humanities is part of the student’s curriculum because it is important for college students to study and understand. From what I learned in school, Humanities is the study of human culture. It involves the etymology of different things. Also, different genres of arts were observed throughout the study of humanities. It also contains the different division of arts.
Humanities will help us to think creatively especially when making an artwork. Different skills and ability will develop by studying Humanities. This will happen by following the correct process or method while studying this course. Let us be aware that if we will make an artwork it shall not be an imitation of someone’s work. When we have done a number of artworks it will be a collection of art that we should be proud of.
Humanities is important to study because it will teach us moral and spiritual values. This values will mold us to become a better person. Our character and personality will be more pleasing towards other people. Also, our faith to God will become stronger. That faith will become our strength in facing any problems that we may encounter in the future.

I have a degree in the Humanities having covered literature and philosophy and some history. It is the study of human nature, thinking, arts and achievements and flaws. It is a vital area of any education.

Humanities help us see how we are connected to all people. It is such a broad field to study, but it is essential to know about unless we all want to just be like robots.

The study of human nature is a good thing to study so you will understand people more.

In the UK system of higher education (i.e. University) most people study a single subject in depth, although they may study others during their first year. They are therefore unlikely to study a Humanities subject unless that is their main or subsidiary focus of interest. My own first degree was in English and Philosophy because I wanted to take two subjects through to Finals instead of just one (my other first year subject was Classical Background - Greek and Roman - because it interested me and still does.)
