A lawyer in Detroit, Michigan wanted to make sure kids who wouldn't otherwise have supplies for school donated backpacks filled with supplies.
They first started with one school by donating 400 backpacks then decided why not do even more.
The Firm ended up providing 23,000 backpacks stuffed with supplies.
This law firm wants these students to know there are people who care about them to succeed and to win in life.
These students will never forget how this year was different from other years

A wonderful gesture by the attorneys, kudos to them for it. It will teach kids to be aware of others problems, and be kindhearted towards the needy.

@Marcyaz Children always learn such things from their elders, especially when shown by their deeds, and a good deed, always leaves a lasting impression, on impressionable kids.

That is awesome. I hear of police offers donating backpacks to kids also. I think it's a great idea.

Wow, that's a lot of backpacks! Such a wonderful initiative by the lawyer. I hope this inspires others to come forward and help the needy as well. Sometimes you never know what it means to the people you're helping.

@Marcyaz That's great! Such a simple thing, but when everyone chips in it really can turn out into an amazing effort!

That is great! I often wonder why the rich who make big bucks and have the means don't do more for the homeless and unfortunate poor in their locals. I understand that some are selfish, self involved, etc. but the ones who aren't have staff that could do for them. I don't get it.

The more caring and involved adults in a kid's life the more likely they are to succeed.

The helping hand extended by this firm would go a long way in shaping these young children's lives.
I used to work for a charity program run by a hospital in our place. The organization adopted about 20 villages in Rural Rajasthan, and took care of all the healthcare needs of all the residents'
They also served breakfast to all school children and took care of educational supplies for the students.
