The Church Where My Family Attends Mass On Sundays

This is the church where my family attends mass for the past 15 years , since my husband , daughter and I transferred to the house of my now olden in-laws, as requested by them .
It was built in the mid 1800 on top of the hill , overlooking the town of Daraga , Albay here in the Philippines. From the top you can see the full view of the active and famous landmark of Albay province , the Mayon Volcano .
You can either drive your car up the hill or you can take the stairs ; 3 ways in all , one from the center , one from the back and another from the side of the hill.
When you are up the hill where the church is , you can feel the fresh breeze . So refreshing ! How I love it when we are there at the top of the hill.
With this guys , perhaps you can join my challenge - for you to take a picture of the church where you always go and post it here .

@SIMPLYD It is so nice and think one can feel plessure to participate the mass on sundays .
In our city also we have this type of church which is located in the top of mount .
The name of the church is St.Thomas Mount Church ..
After my marriage I and my wife visited here .
It was really a pleasant feel . It was a Portugese Church and many histories hidden in it .
St.Thomas was killed here while spreading the Love of Jesus here then .

@SIMPLYD No, the ailment is a reason no doubt, but I havent been there since 1995. Most of the Temples in India are business houses and I feel the purpose of a Temple being defeated each time I even go near them. More also because, today, I know, there are two distinct kinds of Gods around. One who is the Creator and one whom we humans have created. I do have nothing much to do with the Human Created version as it often comes with too many tags. And the one who is The Creator has never surfaced anywhere and said that you should go to a temple and pray to me.

Ours looks simple on the outside, the name is St. Joseph Church, the previous Pastor was Filipino, so most of the community that came was Filipino, when he left the Filipino left. So no more fun parties, and dinners , there was always a nice function when this Pastor was there. not the same anymore.

@CookieMonster46 Are you a Filipino too , living in the USA .?
That's a nice church . It seems homey . It seems not an old one unlike ours that has gone some renovations already .

@SIMPLYD I was born into a religion of a very strict kind and was never allowed much fun..too many restrictions so when i finally reached 18 i married to get away and have never gone back to a religion since..i feel i have no need for it..i am a good person and i don't need no human telling me, by standing before the congregation, what i should or shouldn't do.

So that's in Pangasinan . Wow, it's already so old too . It seems all those old churches are more or less built with the same design . They were built so sturdy so they can withstand the typhoons.

My family goes to church at San Lorenzo Ruiz or Sto. Niño here in Cebu. Have you visited Sto. Niño? It is a famous landmark. It is where everyone celebrates Sinulog. And it is close to Magellan's Cross. It is were Christianity is first introduce.

Yes , i know that you would say that because it's what i always feel whenever i see the view from down the hilltop until there . And yes, the breathtaking view adds to the spiritual nice feeling since you will feel so thankful to be able to experience this view every time you go to this church .
Just take a look at another view from the side entrance of the church .
