I have discussions without interaction

As I went over my discussions, there are a few without response yet. I feel that these are not interesting and not good to read. I only got a like to one of them. Now I decided not to start another discussion until somebody will response to it and I'll set a certain period of time just in case I get responses before I will delete them.

You really need to interact with others if you want responses on your discussions. Go out there read and keep making comments until they come and read and respond to your posts.

Interaction is a two way traffic, you get response only when you respond to other members discussions...

I'm doing that, I made responses and comments too. In fact my interaction with other's discussions are more than the discussions that I started. I just wrote this discussion because I could not think of any topic and it was timely that I had a few discussions with no responses.

All of your discussions may not get responses, that doesn't mean that people didn't like what you said, they just didn't know what to write. That certainly doesn't mean you should stop making Discussions until you get responses.

Thank you, I would not think of anything else. I would rather do what I want to do as what was advised to me.

You see your discussion should be such which could prompt others to respond. You should respond to discussions of others, so that they could come and check your discussions. You could 'suggest' your discussions to your followers through suggest option. Best of Luck.

It is sad when there isn't any interactions in discussions, as that is what keeps them active and people wanting to interact more. It is imperative that we all interact with others, if we want them to interact with us. That is how we keep the discussions moving and actually the comments will take on a life of their own, and some discussions have lots of comments.

That's true. We really feel sad whenever there is no response to our discussion. Anyway, at least we are guided by the responses that I got here.Thank you.

I have a few posts that slipped by without attention. It doesn't necessarily mean no one liked them. They might have seemed too long or just got swamped amidst lots of other posts at that point in time.

I agree with you now. When I started this discussion, I thought no one liked my posts but now I understand thanks to you all who responded this. I guess the responses and comments changed this belief.

Thanks for the response, now I will do what you said to say whatever I want. I didn't realize it. I may have been so anxious to see who responded to my discussions. Anyway, thanks.

Having some discussions without responses is inevitable and virtually all members will encounter this at some time. This is not necessarily related to the quality of a post, but quite often can be simply a matter of chance. All members will not encounter all posts, so sooner or later we all tend to create discussions that simply do not get noticed.

It is not that your topics are boring but it is the timing sometimes. Your connections who normally respond to your topics may not have been around. Not a big deal. Just forget them and write new topics. You have 5 responses here already

It is not always easy getting responses. I learned that from writing blogs and doing old MyLot. Send out suggestions to followers. Some people will always answer you just because they follow you here.

@pahak627,Although I consider discussion as a part of interaction, but you need to interact with others here. Our earnings here are directly proportional to our interaction with others.Read others' discussions, leave a comment below and try to interact with others who left comments on it.

I posted a funny one yesterday that got zero responses for literally hours. I think it has two as of now. I'm not sure why some seem to get "hidden." Maybe it's the subject. Maybe it's the time of day.

I still have some with zero response. Maybe they are still hidden. Anyway, I learned not to wait for any response to my discussions.
