I used to believe there was a god, but not any more. I find that Atheism is the only belief that makes sense - religion has caused so much harm to so many people that the sooner mankind grows up and leaves it behind, the better.

I agree religion has caused harm in many cases, very true. It is also true that religious groups have done much good for others. Atheism as the only belief that makes sense can be discussed with respect for all taking part but I'm inclined to disagree mostly. What I will agree on is that if we consider religion only as a belief (in something) then atheism is filling the same role.

John, if you don't mind me asking, what happened that you no longer believe in God? Religion has caused a lot of harm over the centuries. But what we need is not religion, but a relationship with the God who loves us.

@1creekgirl Religious belief is completely irrational, with no evidence whatsoever for any "supreme being". It was this realisation that "happened".

probably doesn't want to walk with the lord so some do and some don't its just the way they believe cause they don't believe but we have people everday that do trust and luv him no matter what

When we think about the most important things in life, we realize they really can't be bought. God supplies our most basic needs like food and water. But best of all, He provides what our hearts and souls long for...a Savior who proves we're loved.
