@LadyDuck I don't see how I comment here. I don't see the spot for likes to specific comments and the comment to the left of that, but I'd think that was replies to specific comments, not commenting on the main topic. I prefer spring to autumn, for after autumn is of course winter my least favorite season. Glad to see you here. I was getting concerned after you've not written anything new on the other place. . How is your hubby? Anything been determined regarding his headaches yet?

The definition of EQUINOX always seemed wrong to me while I was employed. I do not care what the authorities say, the night always seemed a lot shorter than my day at work.

I like the first half of autumn, when it's closer to the summer.

Then it gets too cold for me and I see the winter approaching, it's a little depressing.

@LadyDuck Yes, there is also the time change n October and it gets dark outside from 5 pm. I come back from work and it's already dark so I don't have much energy.

It is an Equinox anyway, the next event will be the December solstice, on the 22nd of December, the start or winter in the Northern hemisphere.

We had a very cold night, down to only 8º from the 22º we had on Sunday. Today is sunny and beautiful, I hope we are going to have a long and beautiful Indian Fall.

Spring is my most favourite time of the year. I am not keen to see all the leaves fall from the trees. It is yet to happen but I am sure it won't be too far away!

I find it quite inconsiderate of Mother Nature to remove the leaves when the rainy season arrives, thus depriving us of potential shelter during a storm.

Gary I like both Spring and Autumn, Spring seems more a beginning of vegetal life, while Autumn is unfortunately the end. I like the colors of Autumn and some fruits and vegetables like chestnuts, persimmon and porcini mushrooms, they are so good.

Autumn is good in the sense that weather starts to moderate and here summer season says good bye, when autumn starts. Autumn equinox indicates advent of winter here in India. The weather has started cooling down, which makes us feel comfortable.

@LadyDuck actually, it is not a tradition. Just because the weather is windy and cool in autumn, people like flying kites in the park. Summer is too hot, and winter is too cold ,people won't run in the park and fly a kite

@simone10 It is the same for me. I loved the summer when I was a teen. I did not even care about the temperature, we had so much fun in those days. Now I cannot stand the heat.
