Do you make the most out of your smart phone?

Geocaching, another thing you can do with your cell phone!

Many people have smart phones these days, and I have found that not everyone really gets the most out of theirs. Yes, you can check facebook on the fly, but they can do so much more! I can bank on mine (and yes, my cell locks itself, and the banking app locks as well). I can control my central air/heat at my home, or even unlock the doors and turn the alarm on and off. I have an app that pulls all the local sales ads for me. I added an app (and yes most of these are free apps) that I use once a day to help me learn Spanish. I have an app that tells me where to turn so I never have to glance at maps. I have an app to geocache with, with compass and GPS. I have an app to ingress with (fun game there, btw), basically a global capture the flag(s) sort of thing. There are photo apps, writing apps, learning apps, game apps, sales apps, calculator apps, you name it apps. It really is a small computer, when you think about it. For non i-product users google even has a survey app, the only survey thing that I have ever made money on. The money is only for google play store credit. But that's fine, as I haven't had to pay for an app that would have cost me that I wanted in over a year now. The only app I really currently want, is a mylot app. I have trouble with the cell and the site interfacing well, it's laggy and doesn't load well. So, I ask again, do you make the most use out of your smart phone? Please tell me it's not a selfie machine!

I have an iPhone, and I do use apps on it everyday, but I user different apps, mostly to make money with. There are lots of apps out there for sure, and with a smarphone we can do so much more than with any other phone. I love my iPhone.

@Jessicalynnt Of course there are some that are only for Android, so I can't do thos. i have quite a few on my iPhone, but i don't get all done everyday; I just do what I can as most of the ime I ami in here. It is nice to have different outlest though to make money with. Granted, it isn't all that much, but itis etter than nothing, and does add up over time.

I have an IPhone and Ipad by Apple and love them both as you can do so much more with them than a basic phone.

I don't use as many as you do but simply because I don't really need all that.

some get used more than others, and some I think I will use and don't, but there seems to be one for all kinds of needs.

I mainly use mine for texting, plus a few apps to keep track of things. I prefer to separate my online life from daily life and deliberately choose not to do things that can wait until at home on the computer.

I often use mine when I am stuck at doctors offices, or at lunch and such at work, since I always eat alone.

In my own opinion having a Samsung Galaxy S6 as my smartphone is like having a perfect partner in surfing the internet, taking pictures of the memorable events in my life and especially using my phone to communicate to my family and friends.

I do not have one, don't need one. I do not like being that available I guess. I live in a rural area, no cell phone works here, even if it did I would still have to have the house phone because the only internet available is DSL requiring a phone line. I am fine with it, I really have no need for one anyway.

well, turning your home wifi isn't hard, that just takes a router. but I can see what you saw with the no reception. our first house in texas was like that. Hubby is an EMT though, and uses his phone for all kinds of things at work, so we ended up getting smart phones. They don't work everywhere, because of reception, but thats ok, I dont have to have access to mine constantly

no, thanks. Pretty sure that's a violation of polices and such here, plus of all my cell uses, talking is one of my least used!
