@Marcyaz @Rollo1 I like cream in my coffee, and I like coffee ice cream. One day I was out of creamer and wanted coffee, so I decided to try to put ice cream in my coffee - bad decision and I definitely would not recommend it to anyone.

Alright, your combinations do not sound good. Peanut butter and pickles is good, though. Peanut butter and potato chips is good as well.

@purplealabaster @Marcyaz I actually do like the first two combos. I have done them in the past and they were tasty. I can't do the ice cream one anymore because I turned lactose intolerant.

My favourites: * Mint and Marmite sandwiches - a little chopped fresh mint in a Marmite (or Vegemite) sandwich is delicious. * Fish and Chips (usually hot and greasy in the paper with salt and vinegar) * Cornish Pasty and Cider * Morecambe and Wise * Laurel and Hardy * Goldilocks and the Three Bears

You have interesting pairings there, Owl. I am not sure what most of them are, but it sounds like you can eat all but the last two.

@Rosekitty You can have both the truffles and champagne. While I do like mushrooms, I do not think that they pair well with champagne, especially since I am not fond of champagne.

I don't eat salsa, but I like my guacamole with potato chips, in part because I can't eat corn anything. Before I knew better than to eat breaded fish (corn,) I ate them, not as a sandwich, with just lemon juice, but I'd probably put mustard on one if I were eating a fish sandwich. Either that or cocktail sauce... we had to teach a friend, who turned around and taught her mother, how to make cocktail sauce... her mother is over my age!

It seems all the things that are not actually good for us are the things we tend to lean toward. And those are the same things that are offered as combos. For me, I have to be in a certain mood for certain things. So, those powerhouse combos are not a major issue for me.
