Yesterday was my friend's birthday. I didn't get him anything as I just knew about it yesterday.
But what do you usually do when you found out that it was your friend's birthday today, tomorrow or yesterday?
I was kind of unprepared, so I just thought of throwing him a party ... right here, right now.
So, Happy Birthday, Sid! Do enjoy yourself on your special day.
If you are all coming for the party, please don't come empty handed, ya!

You can buy belated cards where I live, with messages of apology for missing birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Just get your friend a present anyway. I would never make getting me cards or presents a condition of attendance at a party I threw.

@arthurchappell Yes, I guess that would do. Thanks for the suggestion.

@dpk262006 Oh, I think he's enjoying himself very much.
[Whispers to @thesids] I don't think he brought you any gifts at all.

We just missed the birthday of the newbie in our team as he was very shy to declare it and the only person who would know had not come! So next day he brought sweets and we were like
A belated happy birthday to my dear bro @thesids. Sorry, I was out last night. Thought of getting a teddy bear for you but let me present this bear instead!
Do share the pictures!

@Jlyn10 I had served you a half cup of coffee the other day and it seemed you needed more
But the problem of this chef is that he believes in tasting the stuff before he serves and cannot constrain himself to just a sip when it is coffee

Woha... Happy Birthday bro.. obviously balated.
Honestly saying I really bad in remembering birth dates. So most of the time I don't able to buy any gifts either. That's why I am bad in buying gifts too.. lol.
That's why I always say to my friends that never remember my brith date as I can't remember either.
