How Was Your Thanksgiving?

Oh boy, do I have a story! Every other year, we switch off where we have Thanksgiving dinner. One year, we'll have it at my sister's house and the next year, we'll have it at another family's house and we just keep going back and forth. Anyway, this year, we had dinner at the other family's house and the freeway is ALWAYS backed up, so we decided we'd take a different route this year. Well, we used my brother in-law's GPS to find an alternate route and that was a HUGE mistake! It took us on these tiny and ROUGH dirt roads up in the mountains. The car we were in took quite a nice beating what with all the rocks and all. Not to mention getting all scratched up from the bushes. Anyway, it was a pretty scary experience, but we survived it (obviously) and can now laugh about it. But I never want to do it again!
