I had sent for some thing from a catalogue that I use. Four articles of clothes. Three of which were the wrong size, I HATE having to send things back. So now I am hoping it will get back to the company and I can re-order these items before the 14th which is my daughter's birthday. I guess we will see. Actually it is rather nice because I have found that I wear a smaller size than I had thought.
Have you had to send clothes back and then re-order?

If I had a way to get around I could probably find things here. It is just more convenient to order them and get them in the mail. Now if I could just get the size right.

@celticeagle that gettin' 'round does prose some troubles. 's fer the sizin'? heck, i think the designers 've all gone plum nuts. no such monkey these days 'f 'i wear such 'n such size' - it all varies 'pon who made 'em, where they were made 'n what material they fashion 'em outta. jest the design itself seems to dictate such.

@crazyhorseladycx that's the same in the UK and Europe... it depends on what store you are in as to what size you need... when I was younger... you could happily order your size and know that it was going to fit you... because it was a standard... but not so these days....

If I order stuff online which is very rare now, I will buy the clearance at Walmart..usually no more than 10 dollars a piece and will be able to take them back to the physical store if they are wrong. That is why I buy from there as I do not want to send stuff back.

I do not order clothes online often. I would find it to be a pain if i had to send something back.

I don't do it often either. I feel so silly cause I ordered the wrong sizes on things.

I've never had to resend clothes back. If they don't fit me i just give them to my sister or sell it to someone else. But hope they get back and you can order in time before your daughter's birthday.

I have had to have things sent back and also have had the company email me and tell me they are unable to fill a part of my order which really makes me unhappy. Guess that is probably why for a long time I didn't buy anything on line anymore. Hope you are able to get them in time for your daughter's big day.

Yes, it has happened to me sometimes. I used to order online a lot and I was getting some clothers in the wrong size. Most of the times I was sending them back to get the correct size, but I have also gifted some to friends or I sold them on ebay.
Now I have specific sites that I order from, so I know what size I should pick from most brands.

@celticeagle Next time you will get them in the correct size. It feels nice when you realize that you have lost some inches. I keep track of my weight from my trousers and jeans. After summer season, they feel very tight and I know that I have gained a little weight.

I haven't. There were a couple of times the clothes that I ordered were a little too big but I sent them to a tailor to get them altered to fit me. I just don't like the hassle of returning the clothes and re-ordering them.

I sent my son some clothing from an online order and he had to return them. I think it's hard to get the right size unless you try them on.

They usually are here too. I just hope I can hurriedly order them again. Have to wait to see about this last item that is still on its way.
